May 7, 2011---pom pom rings

Sunday our daughter and her two boys came up from Longview to go to church with me.  It was great to see them again.  We went to McDonalds for lunch and then they came back to the bus to visit for a while.  She also brought us some smoked fish.  Yum!  Her husband, P.J. (I call him pajama boy, that is how I remembered his name when I first me him, ha, ha), is an avid fisherman.  He spends most of his time off fishing.  He says he is addicted to fishing...............probably like I am addicted to beads.  LOL  However, we benefit from  his addiction and that is  absolutely ok with us.  He says we traded him our daughter for fish.  Whatever works.

Monday we went to the Lucky Eagle Casino for lunch with Roger's mother's side of the family.  They have the most amazing buffet---Mexican---Chinese---American---a whole section for salads and a whole section for desserts including a chocolate fountain.  Really yummy.  Monday is Senior day and we got a discount.  Then we did our shopping and town running around.  We still weren't hungry at 5 p.m.  That is a clue about how much we ate, LOL.  Buffets are horrible for that, but you get such a large variety.

Last evening I made some pom pom rings.  They are cute and fun.

This morning we went to town to get propane and gas in all the empty gas cans around here.  Now Roger is rototilling for his mother so she can plant more garden.
Until next time................God bless.
